Description
All competitors must register online at Guns-N-Such.com/Chili no later than September 10th.
Entry fee: Free for competitors.
Event Date & Time
The Chili Cook-Off will be held on Saturday, September 12th at 4:30 PM at Guns-N-Such.
All other attendees (tasters and judges) will pay $20 admission if they pre-register or $30 at the door.
Competition Guidelines
Each competitor must provide at least 1 gallon of chili, ready to serve in a crockpot or warmer.
Chili may be prepared in advance but must arrive hot and ready for tasting.
Judging Process
Every attendee will receive a judging sheet to score each chili on criteria such as:
Flavor
Spice Level
Texture & Consistency
Overall Impression
Scores will be tallied, and the competitor with the highest marks will be crowned the Chili Champion.
Tic-Tac-Chili Shootout
In addition to tasting, we’ll host a fun Chili Shootout Game:
Double-elimination Tic-Tac-Chili contest (range-based shooting game).
Open to all attendees—just bring your competitive spirit!
Prizes
Winner of the Chili Cook-Off will receive bragging rights, a trophy, and a gift card to Guns-N-Such.
Prizes will also be awarded for Tic-Tac-Chili Shootout champions.
